I'm a native Spanish speaker, but I've been learning and speaking in English since I can remember.
When I translate a game, I not only strive to maintain the meaning of the text as much as possible, but also to keep it as fun and engaging as the original.

I'm Santiago Merino, I was born in 2003 in Argentina (where I currently live), and I've been playing videogames for so long I can't remember a time when I didn't.I've always wanted to make my own games. I had many false starts, but in 2017 I entered a game jam for the first time, and I've been making games ever since. I'm releasing my first commercial game in 2022!In 2020 I also started helping people with translating their games, volunteering to help with games like LOVE (uncredited) and Portal Reloaded. YARG is a rage platformer where a cheerful AI cheers you on through devilishly difficult testing tracks.It features 30 one-screen levels, a built-in level editor, Rage Mode (beat the entire game with just 6 lives!), a story about AI and empathy, and more????????????YARG will be available on itch.io and Steam on Q3 2022.
YARG is my first commercial game. And, despite the subtitle, I think I managed to do more than make just yet another rage game. I hope you'll enjoy it when it comes out on Q3 2022!
